Cruises and B&B on a classic Dutch barge in Brittany.
During the summer months we offer our Dutch barge "Libje" for luxury cruises on the rivers of Brittany. However, in between charters you can enjoy the luxury of our cruising hotel barge on a B&B basis at just 85€ per cabin per night.(min.stay 2 nights) or take a shorter 'taster cruise' We are normally based at a quiet and peaceful location just 10 minutes walk from the medieval town of Malestroit in central Morbihan. Malestroit is ideally situated for excursions to the south coast beaches.We are also within easy reach of Vannes, Rennes and many picturesque villages. There are also plenty of restaurants in the town. Walkers and cyclists can enjoy a wide variety of routes, either along the flat towpath next to the canal or using the 'Voie verte' an old railway track upgraded to a tarmac path that traverses the countryside. There are also numerous marked walks throughout Morbihan. There are many, many other attractions to visit in the area. Airport and train station pickups are also possible by arrangement.
We have 2 luxury en-suite rooms (one double and one twin/double)
and you can either take breakfast in our saloon or on deck.

The Overnight cruise.
Depart Malestroit 10.30, stop for lunch and then cruise until
approx.1600. Eat dinner aboard. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the unspoilt
river oust, and see the wide varity of wildlife that the river attracts.
We moor for the night at a peaceful countryside location, ideal for
pre-dinner walks, or just sitting on deck and enjoying the views
with a glass of wine in hand.
Day 2 After breakfast we cruise back towards Malestroit with a stop en-route for lunch (included). Return approx 1600.

The Long Weekend Cruise.
(also other days when available)
Friday evening. Leave your car at Josselin and we will pick you
up and bring you back to Malestroit to settle in on Libje and
explore Malestroit for your evening meal . Saturday After
breakfast we start cruising towards Josselin and stop en-route
for lunch at a peaceful country stop where you can explore a
typical ancient Breton village.(included). After lunch we continue
on our
way upstream and tie up for the evening where we provide your evening
meal on board
Sunday After breakfast we continue our cruise, stopping to ex-
plore places of interest and for lunch . Finally we moor at
Josselin beneath the castle walls at approx. 1600 hrs. €300
pp

All cruises include buffet lunch and breakfast where appropriate.

We also offer full week cruises which include airport / station pickups , all side excursions, and can be either full board where you either eat on board in the evening or we take you carefully selected restaurants at 7,850€ **, or half board which includes breakfasts and lunches and you make your own arrangements in the evenings at 6,850€ **. If comparing us with the largest hire boats, remember; we do all the work for you, you don't need to do the cooking while on holiday, we offer side excursions to places of interest at no extra cost and finally you won't be charged extra for running hours, fuel, bicycles, barbeque, etc etc.
